Articulation refers to the production of sounds or phonemes combined to make up individual words.  This process involves control of breath, voice, and the articulators of the Mouth.  When children have difficulty producing multiple speech sounds overall intelligibility, or the ability to be understood, can be greatly impacted.  Errors in Articulation stem from a variety of sources so an evaluation by a licensed, experienced Speech-Language pathologist is Crucial to generating a successful treatment plan.
